The company started in the mid-70s, is now the largest marine-piping supplier in the U.S.and offers a wide selection of engineered products, pipe, fittings, manual and automatic valves and metrics. The company offers products of more than 70 separate brands. Customers are amongst others the U.S. Navy, commercial shipping companies, barge owners, cruise companies, offshore oil and natural-gas rigs and shipyards throughout North America and Europe. The company has 14 offices in the U.S. and 1 office in Europe: Antwerp, Belgium. The company is part of an international trading Group with her roots in the Netherlands. The Group employs some 9.000 staff spread over some 500 sites in 11 countries. Activities are split over 2 divisions: Automotive; encompassing import, dealer, parts, tyres and service companies for major passenger car brands and the division Equipment & Power Systems; encompassing internal transport equipment, import and supporting services for truck producers, marine piping supplies, draglines and the like, power generation and engines for the maritime industry. The company is part of the Equipment & Power Systems division.The Group has a history of continuous growth, both by expanding existing business as well as by acquiring other companies in her portfolio.
